  1. Drew is awesome. He plays the villain role perfectly while blending it into his leadership role for the Kings, not to mention the absolute tank he is with all the time on ice he gets every game. He’s also great with fans: I met him after the Kings’ last home game and he was way more talkative than I was lol

  2. Drew doughty or Chucky is a guy you want on a playoff team, need someone who can get under the skin of the opponent’s, and of course who can shoot the puck on net

  3. Players that throw other players of their game, and really get under their skin possess a value you'll never see on a stat sheet. I'm reminded of another player in a different sport that was a master at this….Dennis Rodman.

  4. Definitely our best player. We need him on the ice. Kopi is a champ, Kempe is a champ, etc… but Doughty, hands down!

  5. Lots of the oilers penalties this series have been soooooo soft. The nhl has become an embarrassment. With the reffing in these playoffs it feels like the corrupt KHL

  6. I’m a higher end beer league player and I’ve never been a fan of physical hockey. Sticks on bodies, cross checks, you can have them. I’m more interested in the speed and finesse.

  7. I have a personal story that sums up Doughty:
I used to watch him play in the OHL all the time, and as a 10 y/o I got the chance to skate with him and some other players on the ice after the game. He asked if I wanted to race from blue line to blue line. He let me get ahead and I was just about to cross the line before he tripped me.

That's the type of savage you want on your team. Loved him since that day

  8. The tap on Doughty's shin pad was about the same as Maroon tapping Kane in warm up to get his attn to see how his wrist was and chat a bit b4 patting him and returning to his warm up.

  9. Hey could you make your titles a little more descriptive? If I knew this video was going to be about this I wouldn’t of click because it’s boring.

  10. If the Oil want to have a chance in game 4 they gotta spend more time writhing on the ice in pain like the Kings do. 😂

  11. Yep nice to see that Doughty can dish it but can't take it. Like the knee on knee hit delivered to McDavid with NO PENATLY but god forbid Ekholm should hit a guy in the back with his stick. This series is already over – NHL wants LA to advance as far as possible. Just watch the calls on the oiler and the non calls on the Kings for proof.

  12. i met drew like 12 years ago at a pro hockey life store opening in halifax, so random that he was there but what a beauty

  13. The guy lost his cool when he got hit you must’ve missed that game or something

  14. Love drew for this. We need to body McDavid more. Doughty has always been a crucial piece for the kings. Love to see him have his playoff hockey back. He lives for this and we appreciate it.

  15. As an oilers fan I rlly like drew doughty. He’s a great defenceman, one of my favs all time, I have a signed picture of him hanging on my wall, like I can’t stress how much I love watching the guy play hockey. I wanted kane to end his series with that hit lmao

  16. What about the 3 absolute dives from LA players in the first period that was rewarded every time by calling it against the oilers? Has no one seen this? Arvidsson first, then Kopitar in the corner, and then some 4th liner (that I didn’t even remember the name of) behind the net

  17. You are absolutely right, he h is the energy of LA Kings and who should’ve been Captain for a long time ago

  18. As an all around fan or the sport you’ve gotta love his style of play. Hard nosed defense is always fun to watch. He might not have the size of Chara but he’s reminding me of 2011-2015 Chara with the way he’s throwing the body around this year. Being a bruins fan I’d love to have him as one of our blue liners.

  19. We didn’t have Doughty last year against the Oilers and had them on the ropes up 3-2. Absolute series changer that he’s on the ice this time around.

  20. I was at game 3, I think the best thing the fanbase could do is just ignore him, pretend he doesn't exist. That being said it seem like he was on the ice all game
