Just strange to not see Gretz on here.

  2. toomanyukes

Pavel Bure in the HOF (deserved) but Trevor Linden not.

Probably Joey Mullen… I was also happy to be reminded of what a playoff stud Cam Neely was… such a fantastic player… Kurri was also such a sniper…

What surprises me most is 2 fold.

    1. A lot of big name HOF guys are not on this list.

    2. Teams that visit the playoffs so infrequently, they have people I’ve either never heard of, or where on the team for such a short period of time I associate the name with a different team.

i never realized how bad the canucks were, vegas is about to catch us here

Not surprised to see it because it happened the other night, but the fact that Kreider has more playoff goals in a 12-year career so far than anyone else in the history of a franchise founded in 1926 is pretty surprising.

  7. ruggierodrums

Kreider to be honest… and maybe Joey Mullen.

Cam Neely probably gets bumped off this list in the next two weeks assuming the Bruins don’t blow it. Marchand sitting at 52

I would imagine Lemieux would be number 1 if he didn’t miss all that time in his prime

Surprised the Sedin twins aren’t on here.

It’s wild to me that Carolina has been to two finals and no one from that time is up there.

Crosby not passing Lemieux by now. Crosby is at 71 goals in 180 playoff games. Lemieux had 76 in 107. Mario went to the postseason 8 times and Sid has been 15 times so far

Edit: Malkin has 67 goals in 177 playoff games

What a sad statistic for a storied franchise like the Toronto Maple Leafs

As someone coming back to hockey after a long time. Isint Marchessault the biggest surprise? The team is now second youngest, has had 5 playoff seasons in that time and already has a player with a better franchise stat than 5 other teams, 6 if you include the Jets.

I’m surprised getzlaf is ahead of perry. Pretty sure they played in almost all the same playoff games

  16. Fart_Milk

Honestly kucherov kinda surprised me for the lightning just because stamkos is on the same team

  17. superdalebot

Alfreddson for me. Mostly because i forgot how Ottawa used to go to on playoff runs.

  18. JaucqueStrap

Crazy how a Vegas player has already surpassed a good chunk of teams.

  19. prattalmighty

Wendel Clark with 34 seems like an omen

  20. Aids-A-NewLevel

Surprised to see Yzerman there for the Redwings instead of Gordie Howe

The amount of teams with a sub-35 all-time leader is amazing to me.

And the fact that the Leafs are O6, and four more are WHA era, is also astounding. Teams have been around for 50 seasons and there hasn’t been consistent success like that is amazing.

Not surprised by Nashville, Vegas, Minnesota, Seattle, Columbus, or Florida at all though.

Wendel Clark with only 34. While I really respect Clark, and his career, 34 for old team with (old) play-off success, is not much. Same kinda with Kreider.
