Have to say happy Aube-Kubel is gone. Kid had a lot of potential, but his decision making and penchant for committing terrible penalties has been going on for way too long. Never seems to change. I hope he has better luck in Colorado.
for those who didnt watch the Michkov highlight number 4 on Sweden watched him go behind the net and start he Lacrosse goal motion, yet number 4 as well as any Swedish defence didnt do enough of a job preventing the goal from going in. nice goal still though

Shout out to Dandelion. So called “prey animals” – rabbits, rats (yes, rats, as smart and sweet and funny and clean a domesticated companion animal as you’ll meet) are so underrated. Cool to see the bunny get some love, too, and it’s easy to see she trusts her human dad. If naturally scared animals like you, it’s a pretty clear endorsement of character.
I was hoping Aube-Kubel would clear waivers and maybe play the way he can….but MacEwen has played solid and we have Allison coming back. Both add size to the lineup so this was inevitable

I wouldn't be surprised if Edmonton claims Sheahan off waivers. With Kassian and Shore both out they could use someone like him, and some of the current Oilers played with him back in 2018-19 when he was last here. That said, I don't know who they put on waivers or send down to pick him up, or if the team really needs him.
