@tek1621 How long have you been learning or should I say (everyone's pace varies) but how long did it take you to pick up a (surviving) reasonable amount? haha. I'm like to go to Sweden myself, to live anyways, I know yours was an old post but thanx if you see this 🙂
@ihatestartrek92 WOW! Impressive – and yeah, I had noticed Swedish friends I know or just by observation, for the most part do well with Engelska 😛 It's a good advantage to have…. Americans mostly do not have that advantage and it's a good idea. (Learning another language)
@mrmilliki Very helpful… I have noticed that too while learning…. different areas in country say it differently or modern Swedish? Like phrases evolve over time. Something like that.
this doesn't make any sense… vill du tala engelsk ?… (do you speak english) … first of all it should be engelska (engelsk means that your from england) second, vill du tala engelsk(a) = do you wanna speak english. The correct sentence should be "talar (pratar) du engelska ? = do you speak english" 🙂 otherwise it was kinda funny 🙂
