  1. Because of the league having a salary cap and the draft its not as easy to get multiple superstar players on the team. Generally it only happens if you draft them. Edmonton has two top 5 centers with McDavid and Draisaitl. Generally if you have a superstar you try and get someone on their line to compliment them

  2. Nah you kinda have it backwards about the playoffs. Their is no team relegation or stuff like that in hockey. The NHL has 32 teams and every team plays in the regular season 82 games each regardless of how they did the year before. You don't play the playoffs to get to play in the regular season you play the regular season to get into the playoffs. It's a little complicated to explain but essentially at the end of the regular season the top 16 teams get to compete in the playoffs while the other 16 teams are done for the year. In the playoffs there are always way more hits, fights, scrums, players blocking shots, ect. The playoffs are truly the best sports competition in the world the intensity is unmatched by any other sport and hockey players will play through anything if it means winning the Stanley Cup every year tons of players will play through broken bones and other gruesome injuries. For example in this year's playoffs a Winnipeg Jets player, Morgan Barron, was cut pretty badly on his face right near his eye by a skate he got 75 stitches and returned immediately after getting the stitches to the game ready to go again only missing a few shifts. You should definitely react to stuff about the playoffs which are going on right now.

  3. Easy to like MacKinnon! Also check out Cale Makar from the same team, Colorado Avalanche. Note that unlike MacKinnon, Makar is a defenseman! Exceptional skating and scoring ability.
