Ryan Ellis has 4 years left on his contract and a bigger cap hit as well, why would the Canucks want any piece of that? One more year of Myers isn't nearly as bad as that.

Do players just hat playing for and living in winipeg. Byfuglien left on terrible terms not long ago, and he was a huge part of that franchise.

1. I think the Jets are in for a rebuild. They have a good corps of young(ish) talent to build around.
2. I think Kessel's career is winding down. He's not the player he was even a couple of years ago. I hear he's training with Joey Chesnutt to compete in the hot dog eating competition….stay tuned…😁
Jets – Scheifele and PLD gotta go. Wheeler should be GONE too but getting rid of that contract gonna be very tough.
PLD is a cancer. He showed that in the Vegas series.
Jets need to get rid of Chevy! Team built around small defence small and forwards are small and too soft. Most of our free agent signings have been horrible as no one wants to play here. Need to draft and develop and make trades for guys with no no move contracts and get some guys who can grind. Defence is terrible.
WPG should trade:
1) Wheeler while retaining 50% of his salary
2) Scheifele – without a doubt
3) PLD – he won't resign anyway, plus he is a quitter
4) Schmidt – completely useless for that money he is getting
5) Hellebuyck – this is unfortunate but he isn't going to resign anyway
