This sting sucks. Watching the team give up late game leads in our own barn that would have been the difference maker hurts. The off-season will be filled with “woulda coulda shouldas”. Nonetheless, Toronto outplayed us in the minutes that mattered most. Champions know how to win and they lose with grace.
Last year we got the better of the Leafs in a grueling series. Let’s give credit where it’s due this year and donate in increments of either $20.23 for the significance of this year to them, $56 for every year of their Cup drought, $20.04 for the last time they won a series or maybe you want to do $19.67 for the last year they won the cup.
Let’s pay some respect for a hell of a series and also help out some kids in the process.
