As a caps fan I'm sad to see dilly go… But hopefully this means we can bring up another young stud from our prospects and the draft picks we aquire are setting up for the future. Last season I don't think we had our full strength squad once. So coach laviolette did plenty of shuffling around. Both forward and D men.. Would be nice to see one of the younger guys make a decent go for it this year and fingers crossed we're not as badly hit with injuries and/or covid protocol.

Funny… I was looking at the capitols on cap friendly, and appeared capitols needed to move out some D for cap space for Ovechkin, either Dillon or Schultz, so here we are… Great pick up by the Jets, and think the 1 yr Stastny deal was a good move as well for centre depth if Dubois doesn't come out of the funk he's been in. Being a now suffering Sharks fan, always liked Dillon. He will add some physical presence and nastiness that they need.
Dude you need to quit bagging on Columbus. Jarmo is cheap that's why players leave. Also do you think any player enjoyed playing for Torts? Great city and fans. Fantastic arena. How is Dubois doing in Winnipeg? He's a head case not Columbus fault. Most NHL players do not want to play in Canada. Taxes Covid protocols etc. Adam Larsson ran to Seattle soon as he could to get out of Edmonton. Most don't want Canada so shut up about Columbus.
