If Kadri and Huberdeau don't have anything else but their best seasons this year we will know how dirty this move was.

6 months too late. It was clear the players had enough. Sutter is like Tortorella, players tolerate them for a couple years then can't wait to be done with them.

The flames letting Tkachuk walk will go into sports history as one of the biggest blunders ever. And then lil Johnny. All because they didn’t like the coach.
The only reason the flames were even remotely close to the playoffs this year was because of Sutter. We have zero star players, yet we were in the running right up until the end. That’s because of coaching. After 31 years, I’m done with this organization, I’ve had it with the Calgary flames, and I’m livid that tax payer money has been used for this arena. They should just relocate.

He's being held accountable for his abuse of everyone in the organisation. He is a jerk to the office ladies, everyone else and decided to punish Hubby for being happy. 4 months on his off wing to kill our season. That is what he is being held accountable for. His Soap Opera Queen "Evil Villian" persona, which is his true self. That's why he got fired. Put his anger at 1 player ahead of the entirety of Flameland.

I liked Brad Treliving except for his acquisitions of Huberdeau and Kadri. Oh! and the 2 year x $4 million Sutter contract. Come to think of it. No! I guess I don't like him as the Flames GM.
Calgary will end up with less points next season !! Its on the players now ! Sutter is a winning Coach.
The funny thing was the locker room was fine last season and Gaudreau even wanted to come back to play for Sutter from recent reports. Huberdeau has been a cancer since he arrived, causing lockeroom problems by getting his agent to tweet things. You don’t come to a new team and start trouble in the dressing room right away. If you have a problem with the coach, you handle it inside the locker room. You don’t get your agent to air dirty laundry out in the media. No wonder Florida didn’t want to resign him and traded him.
It’s not Darryl’s fault that he has a 6 million dollar starting goalie posting AHL numbers, a 10.5 million dollar Huberdeau playing like Gary Leeman, a 6 million dollar dman Weegar who scored 4 goals and a 7 million dollar centre Kadri that didn’t show up. That’s almost 30 million in cap space. Coaches coach but ultimately players need to perform. Can’t blame the coach if players played poorly since the start of the season
Sutter must be happy to escape that flaming dumpster of Calgary. Worst NHL team in the league and worst city in Canada.
if they had canned Sutter earlier this team would have made the playoffs.
