Florida Panther/ Paul Maurice admitted that the team turned their season around Vs the Toronto Maple Leafs last home game in Toronto – their OT Comeback win… that win turned the season
Is this from a podcast or a phone off video?
i called Panthers in 7, the president cup curse is real also lol boston it was 3-1
Technically the Bruins are not the winningest regular season team. That belongs 95-96 Red Wings with 62 wins following OT; there was no shootout wins in those years. The Bruins had 61 wins following OT and 4 SO wins. For comparison, these 4 SO wins would have been considered ties in 95-96.
Additionally, Tampa who ‘tied’ Detroit’s record in 2019, won just 56 games following OT and would have 6 more SO wins count as ties in ‘96.
They were also the differences of 3-on-3 overtime in the Bruins’ and Lightning’s seasons which didn’t exist in the 90’s either; which I’m not sure how that would’ve changed things, but it was less likely that games would’ve ended with overtime wins or losses than ties.
Jack Edwards is an insanely biased homer, but he's a showman at heart. That Hindenburg call was 100% appropriate for that Bruins collapse, and I'm sure it killed him to have to say it.
Lovin that Bergeron is retiring this way after Boston's biggest Choke in his career there. Check out their elimination games they've BLOWN since 2010 till NOW. THEY'VE ALWAYS BEEN THE CHOKE TEAM HIDING BEHIND A SINGLE CUP WIN 13 YEARS AGO.
Jesus when Jesse yells oye
It’s so strange hearing Steve swearing 😂
Hey Jesse Golden States 73-9 season was not with Durant. It was the year before he got there
Last minute of the game 2 florida panthers in front of the net bruins done even take a man or a stick.
Guy on the right should shut his annoying mouth more lol. Nail on chalkboard sounding voice. Not even a bruin fan but Toronto has the cringiest player in the league (Marner). Also, the Tik Tok sponsor is cringe af too. Hope Florida destroys you guys lol.
Bruins should have won the series however let’s not forget even know they finished 8th this was the presidents trophy team from a year ago.
This Bruins core is honestly an underrated choker team. If it weren't for the Sharks I'd say Boston has probably been the biggest choke artists this decade and a half. The 2011 Cup with three game 7 wins en rout does save them but yeah, they're right up there
My fear is that the Bruins have just cemented themselves as the new Leafs. They're going to be still too good to fold or rebuild and seem like they could be destined for a whole bunch of first round exits for a good while.
Just like to say I called it. I originally thought they would lose in 6 to the panthers. Every historically great regular season team blows their wad chasing records.
I had the bruins losing the series when Marchand missed scoring on the break a way in game five. I said that’s it Panthers are coming back to win the series…
Simple: Bruins focused too much on setting a meaningless regular season points record. Their Captain got injured in last game against Montreal, then came back too soon and posted a minus 6 rating in 3 straight losses.
Where are the guys from Montreal Game Over SDPN who said leafs are doomed …Mark My words. The Lightning were gonna smoke the leafs..
According to Puckpedia: the Bruins have 14 current roster players signed through next season. So 9 players short of a full 23 man roster. Their projected cap space next season… $6.0875 million. That's not even enough money to pay 9 guys the league minimum ($775,000). Changes are coming in Boston. Whether they want to or not, they have to shed some salary.
Few things bring me greater joy than watching the Boston Bruins get absolutely shat on
Bergeron playing with a herniated disk is wild, most people can barely stand with those. Ullmark was also clearly playing injured, although idk what it would be.
The thing that really killed the bruins tho was the turnovers, they constantly gave the puck over to tkachuk or barkov and they’d have to go on the penalty kill.
Good luck leafs, hopefully y’all favour better than the b’s.
Cause they out played a team that had mediocre schedule ,Florida panthers always on the prowl
I think we went through them in 4 in1996 also like through goose
How about it happened because the Panthers are good and you guys were just straight up wrong
Leafs are happy they’re out. Boston woulda been in their heads.
Hey guys just sayin, Boston fans have feelings too😢😢😢
Who's the ignorant meathead?? Leafs ain't "killing" the Cats bruh
Something of note. Panthers won the president's trophy last year and were embarrassed by being swept in the second round last year. They have all the motivation and are still being totally discounted
Where did Montour come from? He shook off the stank cancer that is Ralph Fn Krueger
Some good talking points
I think at the end of the playoffs
Regardless of choking
Boston will be known for the best record in NHL history
This must be the easiest path to the cup for the leafs
Exception Covid Cup playoffs
What will the leafs be known for if they lose?
Steve, Schneider is a german name, and it's pronounced "I" as in "I" don't have a clue 😉 also the "Sch" is pronounced as in sh*t, so don't overthink! 😌
Truthfully
I think the Bruins coach messed up
Ullmark and Swayman had a good thing going
Why mess with such a great tandem
Game 5 was a missed opportunity
Bro I'm a Chicago fan and I was pissed at Jesse at the start. Everyone is saying its surprising, in reality it wasn't. I made a video on why.
So I can barely hear dangle, mostly hear Jessie and have my ear drums blown out by Adam
At this stage in your careers, this is an embarrassing amateur production. If you don't agree, fine but I then have to add the colouration of your set and the sickly blue hue give the visuals an 80s VHS Canadiana feel. Please hire someone with media experience and or education to address these issues
cause the panthers are a fake 8 seed. Any team that wins the president's cup last year adds a superstar like tkachuk, isn't an 8 seed. That's how ridiculous the regular season is…that is one of the best teams in hockey disguised as an 8 seed
Unfortunately for that Bruin’s fan, he will always remember this season
Game 5 will haunt for years
9:59 Durant was not on that 73-9 team. He joined the next season
Old Boston guy, leafs are much better off playing Panthers, they won but the bruins were the better team all year, putting bergy out there was wrong, not keeping their unique goalie rotation was wrong, many reasons the bruins handed the series to Florida, up 3 games to 1. I'm old man and I'll be dead before the bruins ever get far into playoffs so yeah, I'm more than a little pissed.
I am HERE for Blake DUNKING on Boston
durant wasn’t on the 73-9 warriors but it’s ok jesse lol
