Where did it all go wrong for the Boston Bruins against the Florida Panthers? | Road to the Cup

The Boston Bruins blew a third-period lead in Game 7 against the Florida Panthers and saw their historically great season cut short by Carter Verhaeghe’s overtime winner. After the best regular season we’ve ever seen, just how big of a letdown is this first round exist for the President’s Trophy winners? Which players were the biggest disappointments in the series? And what kind of changes can we expect for an aging Bruins roster that has plenty of salary cap maneuvering to pull off this summer. Ian McLaren of Locked On Bruins joins Gil Martin to break it all down.

  1. Hey, the refs really worked hard at handling that series to Boston but I guess that wasn’t enough!

  2. Boston regardless of what happen still amazing team…..sad that it didn't go there way to accomplish more. Playoff hockey teams can surprise you when they play each other over 2 weeks and get to learn weakness and strengths.

  3. It s a failure Im a Boston Bruins fan the ultimate goal is to win the Stanley Cup all these Records they had Most wins 65 in NHL History in the Regular season most points in NHl History 135 Going 34 and 4 at home is phenomenal but now it don't meant a damn thing if you cant close the deal with a championship go ask The 73 and 9 golden state warriors go ask The 2007 18 and 0 Pats Go ask Dirk Nowitski s 67 and 15 Dallas Mavericks that lost to a Rookie I believe Stephon Curry s warriors it Great to have all these Records but the bottom line is to finish it close the deal out win the ultimate prize goal win a 🏆
Close the deal out finish it unfortunately the bruins are in that Category team of having the best record but unfortunately choked in the playoffs alaah 116 wins Seattle Mariners 2007 pats 18 and
    0 2016 Warriors 73 and 9
Unfortunately not the Category my the bruins wanted to be in sad 😤😤

  4. Leafs fan here. It’s astonishing to me that no one sees that the Bruins simply peaked early.
