Seriously though. I am so proud of our team for how well we did with the injuries and adversity. We basically played the Eaglelanche for most of the season and even the playoffs.
I had a glimmering bit of cautious hope that maybe we could get down the road in the playoffs, but holy shit, if I were a Boston fan, man that would hurt bad. They were unbeatable, until they weren’t.

I’m more than happy than usual that Boston committed one of the greatest chokes of all time because it’s basically drawn all of the “you lost memes” that would’ve been otherwise directed at Colorado. Given how cursed the entire season was, the Avs deserve a quiet bow out.

Honestly the avs losing first round sucks but I’m not even that annoyed or upset because of the number of injuries we’ve had. I think if I were a bruins fan I’d be furious. They have almost no excuse aside from letting their foot off the gas. They won regular season games like no one’s business but didn’t up the intensity for the playoffs. Panthers put in the hustle and I think the Bruins really just beat themselves with sloppy plays.
