Mets fan here. Don’t worry about Taijuan Walker. He might not be a number 1 or 2 pitcher but when he’s right, he’s as dependable as it gets for a third or fourth starter. His splitter and two-seam (very good movement) are the two most important pitches for him, b/c when he’s right they become un-hittable. But some days he may not have a feel for the pitch and won’t use one of them during a game or for extended outings. He always has had rocky outings vs Yankees so I wouldn’t worry about that, and the Dodgers are also a good team so you gotta tip your cap to them. But Walker has excellent control, good 93-95mph FB and mixes in all his pitches so it’s hard for hitters to guess what’s coming, unless he tips them (which he once did, but managed to fix). He will be alright, don’t panic Phillies fans.
