The Dallas Stars and Seattle Kraken began their second round series with an incredibly entertaining game one. Joe Pavelski put on a show for the sellout AAC crowd with four goals in his return after a two week absence. Pavelski’s heroics were not enough however as the Stars allowed Seattle to capture momentum in the first period and were unable to retake the lead in regulation. How can the Stars correct their wrongs and get the win in game 2?

Stars have got to win in regulation or find some new formula for winning in OT. This is past old already.
Robertson a no show again smh we need him to be aggressive to really put our print on this series

Lindell has been absolutely atrocious. A no show as much as Robo has been.
Robo has allot to work with, we can all agree. But, he needs to find some grit and stop being pouty. How many times have we seen him drop his head when something doesn’t go his way, no-one has time for that right now! Time to find some big boy pants.
Kiviranta is a difference maker, we need to find a way to get him back into the lineup. That means someone has to come out though….

That game was great! It was like Pavelski vs the Kraken but they just have to get back at it again and win Go Stars.
Otter is far too streaky imo. He seems to keep getting a free pass on those stinkers. 4 goals in one period…the first at that. 3 goals in 52 seconds is terrible.Everyone from the fans to the media analyists keep saying how great he is and what a stud he is and that's why they like the Stars in these playoffs…..but I'm not all thete yet. Those two top right shoulder goals in 11 seconds cant happen. Then of course a third one in OT. All three were at the same exact angle and in the same exact spot so to me they're more deliberate than just a coincidence. They've seen something in his tape for sure and he needs to adjust quick. He's also 0-3 career in playoff OTs now that's following a disturbing regular season trend. Don't know if he just loses focus from time to time but it happens way too often and especially too often for post season play. He just has to be better than 5 ga and an .887 sv% smdh…..not good especially on home ice.
What scares me ab seattle that DIDNT ab Minny was this kraken team can load up the stat sheet. They can SCORE. Defense HAS to be better, less turnovers, and more offensive help and I think this goes 7, if not, I have more worry ab this one than I did ab the Minny series. Seattle is a much more dynamic team, at least offensively.
Your ignorance about Kraken PK is pretty appalling. Last month or two of of season we were obscenely good (even since January). Ya need to dig deeper than global stats if you’re trying to come off as an informed analyst.

Worst penalty kill in the postseason??? I think you got the power play and penalty kill mixed up. Heading into the game kraken had a 88% pk and 14% pp.

To me all seem like they were trying to figure out where pav fits best back in the lineup, as he will always be a multiplier no matter where he is some players need him to play better while others shine better without him

Letting Pavelski go by the Sharks was one of many mistakes by the former G.M. The Sharks will be in the toilet for many years to come.

stars need robo to show up! don't know if it's mental or physical but robo playing tentatively. it's such a shame to waste such a historic herculean effort from pavelski -smh. (i didn't think stars would win last series after pavs went down but here we are. hope they pull it together.)
