This video is full of craziness – the Jets passing on Gretzky, a random picture of Tie Domi fighting Peter Worrell while neither player is being mentioned…
Can you imagine the numbers he would put up in todays soft league?! I’m sorry as good and fast as the game is today it is not as tough as it was back then. Specially with all the clutching and grabbing that went on and players actually trying to take your head off each and every shift!! I think his numbers today would have been much higher if he was conditioned like they are today. Him ans Lemieux. Oh my!! To me, until there is a player who goals and assists kinda thing are that much higher then the rest of the league like the great ones’ were, there will never be another great one. 215 points in one season !! 50 goals in 39 games!! Ya I don’t there will ever be another one.
At a Hawks game a few years back, Bobby was signing autographs and taking pics. When it was our turn, I set my beer down and he goes “oh you got me a cold one” and her took a nice healthy swig 😂😂.
Wayne goes to Edmonton and they also get Grant Fuhr and Dave Semenko a Great goalie and meanest Enforcer of his era to protect him. Wise choice. Amazing team! and Wayne becomes the Greatest Goal scorer ever to strap them on.
Its probably for the best. The extra girders we would have needed to reinforce the arena roof to hold up all those Stanley Cup banners would have been too expensive anyway.

Rudy Pilous was an old NHL guy he didn’t get what was going on
Was almost a Red Wing as well, but Walter knew Detroit was good with Yzerman in '88. Yzerman was also almost traded to Ottawa for Yashin in '95 lol.

I wonder if the guy who said Wayne was too small to play in the NHL is the same IBM exec who told Steve Jobs that personal computers would never sell.
He's coming to Winnipeg!
RIP Bobby Hull
Thank you Winnipeg! 🏆🏆🏆🏆
Wow.. Hull and Gretzky on the same line. 🤩

Edmonton has never been the same… what a great thing for the city and we have it again.
