Such a good game. I was at the Warehouse in Hamburg watching the game with friends. Everyone there was locked into this game. The atmosphere was amazing! Definitely did celebratory shots. This team was so fun to watch, can’t wait for the sequel to this team!!!

That passs from (I believe) Zubrus to the point on the Drury goal doesn’t get talked about enough. Great vision.

Some things you just can’t fully appreciate unless you lived it. That era of Sabres hockey will always be one of those things. The barn full every night and hunger for winning+Rick J Jim Lorentz+an elite team and franchise goalie. NHL still had fighting and you’d get the occasional Sabres slapshot night. Man what a journey those seasons were.

I was only 9 then, didnt see this game but the one I remember was one where I believe the rangers won that went into triple overtime

Zubrus made that play. Somehow taking out 2 rangers on the draw, getting up and passing it to Connolly was just pure effort.
