The Hockey Writers prospect crew of Logan Horn, Matthew Zator, and Peter Baracchini get together to react to the results of the 2023 World U18 Championship.   1. sweden had the chance to end that gold medal game in the second, but the natural goal scoring touch wasnt there with the powerplay or the two breakaway chances.. while augustine played very well.

  2. Dominance? The Swedes had them under a blanket until they got one back late, and were then very lucky to obtain a power play on a bone-headed gesture. I was actually disappointed in the much-hyped Americans, and impressed with Sandin-Pellikka, obviously. I think that he's done more than just "cement himself as a top-32 pick"! I think he could well go in the top ten.

  3. Happy that Dvorsky finally gets acknowledged! The guy is and always was top10 pick 100% and I'm happy he finally showed it. Any team that gets him will be getting a huge elite prospect!
