Keep Nyquist over Zuccy!
Wilds biggest need is a #1 center before kirill’s contract is up. Gus’s value will never be higher. Feeling aside, seems a trade for a high draft pick or high potential center young center makes sense.
Are you confident that Reaves would be a good insurance policy for the younger players after watching him do nothing when Kaprizov was getting crosschecked by Suter the entire series or when he got crushed by Stanley? I'm also not worried about Gus getting an offer sheet because I don't think he'll get an offer that the Wild can't match. I don't see him getting more than $4-5M which the Wild can match and can even trade Hartman or Foligno if they have to.
Resign Addison and Duhaime @ $1M and Gus @ $3.5M. The rest can take a walk……….Even though the Wild are WAY too small @ Dmen Billy has no choice the next 2 years.
As long as there is no coaching change it won’t matter ,, I believe they are keeping Dean because they don’t want to pay another coach right now , with the cap situation and wait till 2 years before replacing him, because by then cap he’ll is over and you can start clean slate
