He’ll get a Norris. Not this year, but he’ll get one.

The Norris is still a reputation award despite all the new advanced stats that are out there. We’ve seen Doughty and Hedman win it in years that were far from their best after years and years of having the reputation that they were “due”. That’s probably the reason why Makar, a previous Norris winner, was nominated despite having a down year by his standards.
Dahlin will finish at-worst 5th this season and if he can continue to ascend like he has, he’ll be winning the Norris sooner rather than later.

Obviously dude should have sat out 1/4 of the season instead of playing injured to help the team

In past years, I’ve noticed that Pens have gotten by with shit d because they maintain possession in the o-zone. During those same years, we weren’t able to exit our own zone. Don’t mind me, just making broad statements.

So if I am reading this right, and I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but the eye test pans out when it comes to Dahls taking too many dumb penalties still, and it’s arguably the biggest (only?) hole in his game now?
