  1. Sounds like this scout is extremely generous with his projections, interesting that Leonard is his #5 ranked guy.

  2. Leonard at #5 is probably the highest I’ve seen anyone rank him, but I personally prefer him to Smith because he’s a more complete, heady, problem-solving player. Maybe it’s because Leonard reminds me of Suzuki a lot in his build, vision and puckhandling/distribution while having more quickness.

Barlow I keep seeing as a Flyers player for some reason. So #9 seems right at the right place.

Glad to see Stenberg so high. He’s a really nice, complete player with a proactive mindset and room to grow physically.

Moore at 16 is a bit far IMHO, but I some bigger guys will inevitably get picked before him. I have a hard time seeing that many teams pass on a guy who can break games open with his speed and drive.

Wood at 19 fits the player’s actual value, but size might push him out earlier.

Lot of interesting talents in the 25-37 range where the Florida 1st rounder might land and our 2nd rounder should be. If there’s a run on defensemen in the back half of the draft, could end up with a slipping forward — Halttunen, But, Ritchie —there.

If we have an opportunity to grab Daniel But at a pick that would make sense to grab him at I would really like that. Getting Tage Thompson vibes from him

For people who actually know anything about scouting, who are (so far) looking like they have the highest “hockey IQ” out of this class?
