  1. Why does it matter his race? i thought we were trying to be equal but you’re pointing out that he’s black. I wouldn’t have even thought about his race until this video came out.

  2. "black player" seems kinda racist to me . when will they become human beings not someone thats categorized by their skin color

  3. The fact that he’s black is not relevant (stop making click bait based on skin color) ur devising ppl more than uniting them!!!

  4. Wow "black", white people patting themselves on the back for this accomplisment they achieved 🤦‍♂️

  5. Holdup…black guys can skate? I guess when your name is Quinton you got a chance

    Congrats bro 🎉

  6. Being drafted to Los Angeles is very fitting based on some ugly history in that city. Congrats to Quinton. Huge career ahead of him.

  7. People always say "highest drafted Russian" or "highest drafted German" when it comes to European players and any other entity for that matter and no one blinks an eye… but when you say "highest drafted black player"… now you got people commenting "WHY IS THIS ABOUT RACE"……

  8. Probably highest non-white selected ever. Paul Kariya (Japanese father Tetsuhiko, but Tetsuhiko was born in Canada and played for the Canadian rugby national team) was selected 4th.

  9. Really NHL he is a hockey player it doesn't matter if he is Black White Pink or Blue

  10. @ NHL congrats to LA and for Quinton Byfield being second overall in the draft.

How embarrassing, Quinton Byfield is not the highest black player. 🤦‍♂️🙄

Correction Quinton Byfield is the highest Mix Race player to be selected in this year NHL draft

His dad is Jamaican and his mother is white is from Canada

  11. A Canadian good at ice hockey is nothing special. If there was a person from Kuwait who has never seen ice before then that would be impressive.
