So are we winning a cup in about 5 years when all our D prospects are grown up and tearing up the league? My biggest fear is a repeat of the Flyers where a few or more years back everyone thought they had an insane D pool and it all kind of just fizzled away except for some excitement from Provorov and Ghost before the team and fans soured on them.

Mailloux gives me strong Sergachev vibes. (I really dislike Serge but that’s his best comparable).
Lanky, strong, fast, heavy shot, strong offensive instincts, bit of a mean streak, weaker in their own zone, occasional boneheaded defensive play.
