The new “Storm Surge”…..whenever a player has a great game his teammates mob him for the Storm Surge….this game’s victim was Pyotr Kochetkov. “PK” (as he likes to be called) was called up from the AHL Chicago Wolves (again) after the Carolina vs Montreal game on March 7th (Goalie Antti Raanta suffered a lower body injury during the Montreal game). Pyotr responds by shutting out Philadelphia (his 4th NHL shutout in only 20 NHL games this season). Pyotr named 2nd star of the game. I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of Pyotr next year ; )
