Kane's blatant disregard for the unwritten code of ethics involving scraps reminded me of how pissed I was at McCrimmon's decision to pursue more 4th line scoring in favor of the element of toughness that Reaves provided.
Kane and Kolesar started as a fight but ended as a brawl. A fight has rules, while a brawl does not. Kane needs to be suspended for the rest of the playoffs, for intentionally trying to injure a person.
Sure, you can leave at any point during the game, especially during a blowout. During the Oilers decade of darkness, the games were still sold out and even with a blowout on the Oilers, most fans still stay. It's a mindset.
