    On Missin Curfew Tocchet said that Studnicka specifically asked for guidance and extra help from him. Mentioned he was a little disappointed that he wasn’t giving all the guys the amount of guidance they needed. Love that type of determination coming from both player and coach.

    I’d assume the rule is so teams can’t force players to train in the off season, seems if the players ask it shouldn’t be an issue

    What if Studnicka, Joshua and Tocchet just all decided one afternoon to take the family out to 8 rinks? What if they were nervous about spending an entire afternoon signing signatures so they decided just to book the ice to themselves? What if they happened to independently decide to get into better shape with similar drills that day?
