  1. I've seen Lucic almost rip heads off and get nothing for it. Suzuki retaliated after getting hit after he passed the puck and his stick came up. No one was injured, the play wasn't intended to injure anyone so ya, This is kind of a BS call. Suzuki isn't a dirty player or has a history. The worst think he should have gotten IMO is maybe a penalty for roughing or at most, 5 for high sticking. Throwing the captain of the team over such a play can actually cause the Habs to get angry and play MORE aggressively. I don't see how this call can deescalate the situation.

As for Drouin, It doesn't seem to be a positive step in him resigning this summer. As you mentioned, we don't know why he missed the meeting but Marty seems reasonable. So if Marty wasn't happy about it, the reason Drouin had probably wasn't very good. So it comes down to if we trust Marty was in the right here or if Marty was being a jerk. In either case, this incident puts a "check" in the column that Drouin won't resign this summer.

  2. So in a game where Montreal’s up against a team who has lost their first round pick to Montreal and is fighting for the playoffs, penalties are called 31-2 in favour of the other team and not only does Montreal’s star player get a five minute major for, fuck if I know. Apparently it was crosschecking but if he did crosscheck him it wasn’t nearly enough to warrant a major. Then he also gets fined. This combined with 2021’s series against Vegas really shows what the league thinks about the habs.

  3. Drouin along with some others are just passengers with the team.

I'm sure that during the offseason the management team will be doing quite a bit of weeding in the HABS garden.

  4. Again? You know what….anybody who misses those production meetings in the real world is soon to be canned!

  5. Whenever I start to think maybe i should give the guy a little break, he does something else. Go ahead, throw him under the bus, i hope that was the final straw in the decision if they want to offer him another contract. If he is on the team next year, i am not only, not gonna be happy im gonna be fuckin' twisted! I guarantee he goes somewhere else, and puts up huge numbers (well huge for him, I dont mean 80-100 points, Im talkin around 50–60, and doesn't miss any time. I just see a snake when i see him, I can't stand him anymore. Good riddance Drouin.

  6. Hopefully, this will be the final death-nail in the insane conversation of possibly bringing Drouin back .. dude, is a fkn disaster.
    #goHabsGo

  7. Drouin .. leading the tank charge for years inside his padded office… better keep showing that tank ass up for work mf

  8. Spring break in South Florida got the best of our boy Johnny D. It’s bananas down here boys. Rockets everywhere. And as a panthers fan those penalties on Suzuki were goofy as was the fine… player safety is cheeks 🤦🏼‍♂️

  9. the league does not fine the goons and idiots but like to hit the innocent ones. this fine was stupid and time we got a new head of punishment as Pharros looks after the goons. Drouin needs to go as there is no excuse for missing a meeting as that is why we have cell phones to call and let people know what is wrong…

  10. Fans all over nhl love to hate the habs, but its all good becaucus between fans its all fun and games. But when the refs and modern nhl do it … these past few years it has increased, some form of double standart night to night. Except for hooking, what is a penalty nowadays ???????????

  11. I bet drouin ate bad guacamole and couldn’t stop shitting.. or maybe hemorrhoids but either are just not good

  12. J.Drouin is the type of player that has problems with priorities. If you expect a paycheck according to your signed contract, then the team expect you to be at the scheduled meeting. A flogging with a handful of wet noodles should rectify the situation.

  13. The refs in that game need to be fired because I am sure they will be fine with whatever the Panthers paid them. The calls were all horrible.

  14. The call on Suzuki is a joke. It’s a little late to put your foot down for Drouin’s lack of teamwork.

  15. You just nailed Jonathan’s last name for the first time! We gotta sign him now…. Geeez!

  16. Love you and your sens of humor. That being said, I'm a French frog and… if my frenchie boy is not doing well (Drouin, ldo) I'll take it like a man and stfu if you are spitting on him while he's on a down swing. That being said, please check out who is #1 in points on the whole team this year. If you find out that our #1 offensive guy is Drouin, first, gfys. Second, please say on your next (hilarious video that I truly enjoy) that my boy Drouin has raked more points than anyone else on the team and that you suck for hoping that Kent Hugues trades this splendid player for (not even a hockey stick but) the pubes stucked under the tape of the worst player on the team.

  17. At least Campbell had the decency to hate the franchise because of the french players. He was following his heart with it. Bettman is just after the fast and easy american cash grab. Hard to disagree with that when a game goes 31-2 in terms of penalty minutes. The last 2 games against the Panthers would've caused an unprecedented scandal in the hockey community no more than 25years back. Now we're so used to it, it became the norm.

  18. $2500 is a ridiculously small fine in today's NHL. Most of us would feel some pain if we got a $2500 fine. Nick Suzuki won't even notice that the money is missing.

  19. Just happened to scroll across this channel , Love it! Smacked the subscribed button right on the chops !!!! Thanks boys! Im not a Robot !!!

  20. LOL fined $2500, if I was Suzuki I would have tipped them another $1500 too and told them to all go and get their eyes checked LMAO. The refs and NHL have a special Kangaroo Court for judging the Habs.

  21. An absolute shit stain of a call. There is more jousting in front of the popcorn stand at the Moncton movie theatre ffs.

  22. Who cares what anybody does to a Panthers player??!?! The game had started for a while and as usual, MANY seats were empty, nobody cares!!! JOKE market!!!

Ive been a Hab 31 years now. Drouin is SERIOUSLY contending for the WORST trade in our history. Patrick Roy is still the worst trade, but Drouin is doing his ABSOLUT worst to take over bad trades. LONGEST and WORST contract in history, not just sports contracts, the ENTIRE history of contract signing. Good F***ING RIDDANCE!!!

  23. Every work place has that person who tries to get out of work all the time but still wants a job, that's Johnathan unfortunately. He loves everything about the NHL besides the work

  24. lol. 2500USD is for Suzuki what is 20$ for someone with the avg salary in Canada (73000 CAD). Another impressive number, Drouin made around 120 000$ watching the game front row off the bench against Tampa the other night.
