I remember feeling lost after G4 in that series, similar to this year, wondering where the team I knew was and that we were better than what we were showing against the Flyers. Still remember the Dad telling his son that he’d let him stay up late to watch the Flyers eliminate us on the way out in the parking lot.
I absolutely loved Hischier’s quote about believing as a team they can come back. We had Robinson’s trash can tantrum back in 00’…need to light a fire under the team, but his message back then was the same as what Lindy said – we can’t win as individuals and need to play as a team and play our system, else we will lose.
I just hope we put out our full effort tonight and see if we have another bit of comeback magic in us. Lets go.
