‘It’s not really about wins or losses’ LMFAO

All the focus on structure and habits is for sure setting the right tone for people getting excited to watch games.

I have never seen them advertise SO HARD on season tickets, in my 5 years of being a full season ticket holder, i went down to quarter this upcoming season and even that is pushing it.

My favourite part is STRUCTURE. lol what a clown show this franchise is. Gotta love ’em. 10 bucks says after they see the backlash from this commercial they pull it back and do a new one, just like with #unfinishedbusiness last year.

Been saying this for over a year now… The Goal of this Ownership group isn’t to win the Cup.

    It’s only to make money.

I hope more and more fans start realizing this and pull their financial support.

My family gave up our Season Tickets a few years back. This year 2 of our close friends who still had theirs (4 tickets total) decided that enough’s enough.

You can still cheer for the team, you can still be happy about wins… but you don’t have to pay this Ownership group for their continued mismanagement.

If you’re still a Season Ticket holder… what else do you have to see to pull your support?

growing up i’ve always wanted to buy season tickets.
now that i can afford them, the product on ice just doesn’t bring any hype or interest anymore.

  6. shadownet97

Joke’s on them I didn’t need a corny commercial to renew my ticket membership.

    *cries*

Sick commercial. Joshua is a frickin beauty. What a find by Cull and RJ

“There is a certain standard”? What standard? We’ve never won a cup. That is the only standard for success.

They shouldn’t have meaningless, self important voice overs in the ad. They should have just gone with music and an exciting goals montage.

    “STRUCTURE” “STANDARD”

    Canucks Marketing needs an overhaul.

    #NEXT SEASON STARTS NOW

I mean technically it started like 3 weeks ago with those off-season practices with the Sedins.

  11. CowboyCanuck24

Thank god the season and the draft lottery is over with so this team cant frustrate me anymore…

  12. Historian_Acrobatic

Still waiting for the Trailer to finish…

The Canucks are lucky Vancouver doesn’t have an MLB or NBA team like Toronto, or they would be the third hottest ticket with how the team has been run for a decade. These guys take the fans for granted.

  14. Level-Interest5130

How is this team so tone deaf. Between the goal song, the in-game entertainment, and now the ads, they keep doing things fans actively dislike.

I really don’t get why it is so hard to do market research on these kinda things and then do what your consumers like.

  15. Level-Interest5130

The team sent no one to City Hall for John Garrett Day and didn’t even bring it up on any of their socials.

Hey PR/marketing team, if you’re reading this, you’re the worst in the league by a mile

  16. Weekly-Sheepherder-1

Didn’t the league just fine them for starting next season now?

  17. Passaglia05

“It’s not about wins and losses”

“As long as everyone gets great exercise”

“ Did we mention that Nathan’s hotdogs are available at Rogers arena?”

“ Come and see our banners and memorabilia from when our team was good”

“plus we are like so close to skytrain”

Vancouver Canucks. Season Tickets on sale now.

  18. curious_pinniped

This is just awful. It’s not about wins or losses? If that’s the attitude you’re taking GTFO.

Structure, standards, working hard, practice – these are just table stakes. It’s like a restaurant telling people to come in because they have knives and forks, of course they do.

  19. great_save_luongo

So wait, is the goal for next season to win more games and make the playoffs or is it to build structure, habits and standards (which is the lowest bar possible)? The line in there that it’s not about wins and loses directly contradicts their previous statement about being a playoff team next year. It also further confuses the Hronek trade and giving up a first round pick because that seemed to be a move done to get into the playoffs sooner then later. This team continues to be absolutely fucking baffling to understand. How embarrassing that a maxed cap team says it’s primary goal next year is to instill basic professional standards and practices.

Bruh how far this franchise has fallen since 2011, dear god. “It’s not really about wins or losses”. Oh, really? Is it just about the friends we make along the way? JFC
