I guarantee if one of the Rangers would’ve hit Ovechkin with a hit like that, they would’ve been thrown out of the game and got a 10 game suspension, make it a 20 game suspension

This is a game you immediately put behind you as a player , coach and a fan .. They didn't come prepared today , the passing was off the mark , the forwards didn't help out their defense at all and the defense looked out of sorts … They've dropped 4 straight but the Winnipeg game was a 50 shot plus night , the Calgary game wasn't a terrible effort , the chief concern is Lindgren . I could rant away on things about the players that irk the hell out of me but this is virtually the same team that just had gone 24-4-4 so really am I going to rip on them for a few subpar games ?
PK Subban is NOT a guy to ask whether a hit is clean or not . The guy was a solid D-man for most of his career but the last few years his laziness led to a lot of nasty injuries to fellow NHLers that fell squarely on his shoulders or should I say his slew foot . The boarding rule was created to protect players along the boards . IF a player is turned completely around , his full name and numbers in full view near the boards , he is thus unprotected and vulnerable and respect for your fellow NHL players dictate you don't drive your body into them from shall we say a "good long running start " ..the results speak for themselves .

The team as a whole STUNK, Fundamentals of what they're suppose to do was disregarded it's almost as though they wanted to give the game away, game was shutoff at the second period, just sucks.
Jon: Kravtsov has no value and no interest around the league because he’s done nothing in the nhl, has a history of immaturity, and the rumor is he’s going back to Russia. Bottom line is this was a salary dump to clear cap space for the Kane trade. Trading Krav now means the Kane trade can be finalized on Wed instead of Friday, which means we could see Kane debut in Philly.
As for the terrible performance, let’s put things into perspective. Rangers were on a heater from Dec 7 – Feb 17. So, maybe let’s give them some slack if they’re a bit weary and distracted. Once the deadline/Kane stuff plays out, I think we’ll see a team more focused on getting ready for the playoffs.

I'm not thrilled at the thought of trading a young defensemen for Kane and now with Lindgren day to day ??? And K'Andre what was he thinking ? its a bad look and shows no brains when you know the team is going with five d-men to start .
