    I like this trade but I'm still not convinced we're a contender, we need to make more trades.

    It's great for Leafs fans. Dubas is essentially telling you that they're going all in to bring a cup back to Toronto. As a fan of another team, don't take that for granted. Not all GMs are as committed.

    Pretty good trade considering the 1st is probably gonna be late, and the leafs didn't have to give up a roster player. Gonna miss Grundstom and Durzi though, they both looked fairly promising. Good to see Hainsey moving down to the third pairing as well, could really help Dermott's transition game.

    Thank you Jake for 8 seasons in LA! I figured you would be traded back East out of all places I'm glad you ended up in Toronto! Take good care of him Leafs. The Kings got what we needed and Leafs got what they needed. Excited to see what Grundstrom and Durzi will do for us in LA.

    Oh well who needs first round draft picks. Who needs prospects? Is Tom Kurvers still available? Maybe we could trade our 2020 and 2021 first rounders for him. Same old Leafs. Trade draft picks and good prospects for 29 year olds. Same old Leafs, win now screw the future. I've lived it for 40 years. And one last thing. The Leafs are NOT good enough to win a Cup with this line up. So this move, in the long run, is a negative. SAME OLD LEAFS. No long term plan.
