Great article pointing out one of the aspects that makes playoff hockey different that regular season hockey: guys are more willing to put their bodies on the line to block shots.
My wife is a Rangers fan and we followed the 13-14 cup run pretty closely. I don’t think I’ve ever seen as many blocked shots as those guys took. And the gruesome shot blocked by Marc Staal’s face the year before. Torts really knew how to get his guys to take one for the team
