i think there is an opportunity for some cash in creating a hockey goalie helmet that offers greater visibility… i ALWAYS see the goalies loosing track of that puck and the locations of players.
…on an additional, separate, and crazy note, when you have to react that quickly, your peripheral vision is everything. your reflexes act quicker with an unfocused image prompt. i know it would look utterly moronic, but i bet that if you had small, fish-eye mirrors off the side of your mask a bit (or something), you would learn how to casually reference the visual data it would offer.
