we’re cooked lmao. if they’re both coming back, why haven’t they spoken to media?

Devils fan here. I am truly sorry in advance for Lou announcing an 8×8 for Damon Severson this offseason.

I think you guys are spoiled in long island, you’re very lucky to have Lamoriello who is arguably one of the best GMs in the NHL and a certain NHL Hall of Famer. The islanders pushed Carolina to 6 games while Carolina made it look relatively simple against the Devils in 5.

I’m looking forward to the Cats vs Canes but my guess is that Carolina reach the SCF and have a good chance to win it all this year.

I’m indifferent to this news but what is the deal with Lou’s bizarre secrecy? 99 percent of NHL GM’s are much more transparent and open with their fans and the media in 2023. This isn’t 1995, fans deserve to be in the loop much more

  5. Honestly in the back of my mind I expected this, but MacLean should definitely be on the chopping block. It could have been worse honestly, could have hired chia, fletcher or Keith Jones as front office hires.

Maybe we need to fire Ledeky? Apparently he doesn’t take this organization seriously.

I don’t really mind it to be honest. There’s really nobody out there I’d like to see otherwise in terms of GM. Lane presented solid points to stay. He wasn’t perfect but he showed a solid argument for being kept around.

I really don’t get all the Lou hate after everything he’s done for this franchise. I’m glad he’s back. He’s going to do what he can to make us better.

We’ve lulled everyone – including me – into the expectation for being on the wrong side of mediocre.

To game 7 of the ECF we go!

One of the better 5 v 5 teams all year with good goal tending but our special teams killed us.

MacLean should not be back at minimum

What’s happening is the Lou isn’t under contract and he’s not going to speak to the media if he’s not under contract

King Louie of Opium will never give up his grip. Couldve had Tulsky but we will gut whatever remains of this teams prospect pool.

Oh joy, more tire spinning. And we’re gonna run it back🤦🏻‍♂️

No playoff beards for awhile, it seems. Cause that definitely is such an important factor.

I really want Lou gone, not cause I think he’s the worst GM ever, but because he’s old as hell and is outdated in his mindset in a few ways. We need a fresh young mind running things who understands the modern day NHL and what it takes.

Lambert I’m mixed on. My big issue with him is our team was very inconsistent in their effort this season and I feel like we kinda liked an offensive gameplan.

The PP coach HAS to go though. Seriously shouldn’t even be a thought about firing him, needs to happen.

Lmao this ownership group are complete idiots if they’re keeping Lou. What exactly has he done the last 5 years? The team still can’t score and it’s built on 1999 NHL logic. No farm system, a team full of 3rd liners, and horrible contracts. This team should be rebuilding, but if they keep Lou they’re just doubling down down on this mediocre core, they will be a .500 team that will miss or barely squeak in. Also, don’t even mention the two *eastern conference trips, they did this on shortened schedules. They have yet to sustain a whole 82 game season and make a deep run which won’t happen because this team is old.

Is Lou ever going to retire?
