Seattle completes the comeback and wins 5-3 over the Dallas Stars to take a 3-2 series lead back to Seattle as holding and maintaining a 3 goal lead is impossible in the NHL. In the NHL it is easier to comeback from a 3 goal deficit than it is to hold and maintain a 3 goal lead.
If any team goes up 3-0 they already lost the game because holding and maintaining a 3 goal lead is impossible to do in the NHL, like it cannot be done. If I were the road team, I'd give the home team an automatic 3 goal lead to start the game if possible because of how easy it is to comeback and win the game. It's easier to win the game being 0-3 down than to start the game 0-0.
