Charlie Coyle has been a DOG for the Bruins.

  1. I remember seeing Coyle at junior nationals in 2008 or 9 in his south shore kings days.

Nhl scouts everywhere watching him. Played with such poise, never needlessly flashy, big guy, moved the puck so well.

Everything you want in a player. It was clear he was destined for greater things

  2. This is Coyle's history… Grind all season long, shows up for 82 games-then another gear for playoffs.

His stats back it up-regular season he averages a point one out of every three games.

During playoffs? His points stat doubles

He came in at the end of February 2019 like a bat outta hell, like Lindholm, lot of bruins fans missed that trade coming in

16 points in the playoffs helping B's get to 2019 finals

He's a grinder during regular season,

then the "Playoffs Charlie" switches into overdrive.
I'm thinking that's Taylor Hall also

The top lines in playoffs are all good players… They're going to neutralize each other

It's the mismatches on the other lines that score…
The versatility to play with any line, type of player, at any speed, against any opponent… That's a 2way 200 foot hockey player that can create serious mismatches, know how to handle those breakaways & opportunities.

I remember Charlie coyle on the wild. He's always stood out during playoffs. Thrilled he was coming back home

    Enjoy!

  3. Using the F word alot is a defense mechanism because it makes you seem tough when you aren't….
