Scott Mayfield put himself into the lane of an unsuspecting Jack Drury, who ran right into him and went down hard. There was no penalty on the play and I’m not necessarily saying there should have been. How much responsibility should the attacking player have to avoid this even though he doesn’t want to go offside? Have your say!

That looks like interference to me.
No real issue with this one. Drury had his head down and Mayfield coulda trucked him into Manhattan but didn’t. Instead it’s just a shoulder to the chest. Clean in my book and A textbook way to hit an unsuspecting player without killing him
Tough one. Mayfield obviously has to avoid the offside, and is going to turn in order to do so. It doesn't look like he looked at Drury, or put anything extra into the collision. If he went out of his way to block Drury's path, it's interference, but it doesn't look like he did.
Islanders fan here, definitely interference lol. Laid a check nowhere near the puck. It is the playoffs, and they are far away from the play, so I guess I can see why they chose not to call it, but they really should have because Canes player wasn't expecting it.
