In game 4 between the Edmonton Oilers and The Vegas Golden Knights.. we saw another blowout victory but this time in favour of the OIlers. Now the emotions of this game went up a notch as we saw alex pietrangelo slash Leon Draisaitl. Darnell Nurse also received a 1 game suspension for instigating a fight in the final five minutes of regulation. We cover this NHL playoff game & more in this video.

Playoff hockey is suppose to be and has always been this way. Refs put the whistle in their pockets for the intense playoffs. Only lately all the liberal snowflake youtubers who moralize everything because they don't have religion and creating a culture that looks for faults in everything.
Player Safety is a joke…George Parros is a joke…NHL refs are inept…Bettman doens't care

I agree that it is time to stop this before someone gets seriously hurt but the funny thing is that if the refs were calling these game exactly how you are asking them to be called, there would be twice the uproar then what is going on now. Everyone would be saying that the refs are determining the games. Everyone would be getting their tin foil hats out claiming that the league / refs favour the other team.
Vegas fans have been conditioned to believe the refs are out to get them. Goes back to the 2019 play offs when they took a 5 minute penalty and allowed San Jose to score 4 power play goals on that penalty. San Jose was 4 for 25 in games 1-6 on the power play. But yeah, it's the refs fault they lost the game, and the series, not that fact that Vegas imploded trying to kill the penalty and allowed San Jose to score 4 goals.
I can't believe anyone gambles on this league.

Also Edmonton is blessed with Nurse getting suspended with how bad this guy is …. And with the #1 Goalie out … they are again quite helped. Kane can do whatever he want, and Mcwhiner just have to cry about it.
Stars fan here, I don’t have a dog in this fight. That Kane cross check to pietrangelos face should have been a 5 minute penalty, game misconduct, and a game suspension. It doesn’t matter how much damage he actually inflicts. He went straight for his face with a crosscheck, that is intent to injure. That cannot be a part of the game even if it is playoffs and the refs are “letting them play”. I’m all for letting the boys be more physical and feisty than they are in the regular season but there should be a very clear line of what is too far.

They should increase the number of refs on the ice in the playoff… put 4 refs and 2 linesmen on the ice and force a clean game. I am tired of missed calls because it really does impact who wins the series at the end of the day. Not only that it impacts player safety.

The Refs were very awful in game 4. Edmonton got away with murder the entire first period. You showed the hit on Stone, but you didn't even show or talk about the three or four crosschecks on one guy they didn't call, yet they call the retaliation. I also saw about 4 charges by Evander not called, as well as some high hits. Edmonton is a very strong, stout team when they are following the rules…give them a license to just beat the hell out of the other team and no one has a chance.
Weird how this didnt happen in the Carolina and NJ games, the refs kept their whissles in the pocket basically the entire series but somehow NJ and CAR both fought with respect. As a canes fan I respect that young team and wish them the best even if we play again.
pietrangelo only got one game for this. george parros is a moron. player safety isn't doling out fair punishments based on how dirty the plays were, they're doling out equal punishments so no one cries like a toddler on twitter. shameful.

The NHL puts rules in place to make the game faster. But those rules conflict with the rules already in place. And that’s where the inconsistency in calls come into play. Regular season vs playoffs. NHL – Just like basketball have the worst refs. And they have no issue with that.
I hope Pietrangelo doesn't get a suspension and there are line brawls! The series may already be over, im not watching but if it's not I may tune in.
1993 – only one team north of the border and the refs are doing everything to keep edmonton in the playoffs, they tried it with Toronto, but the Panthers are the better team. Is there any one left in Ontario or did they all move to Florida:)

Love that the coilers lost. Only super dirty thing the knights did was the slash on Draisaitl. Meanwhile Kane runs around like a lunatic cross checking every chance he got, especially near the boards (clearly an attempt to injure on the neck shot cross check yet he only got 2 mins, at the very least that should have been 5 minutes) and beating on a defenseless player. Had to watch the fight Kane had from a few years ago with Chara to wash my pallet after watching him. Clearly there is something wrong with the guy, watch his interviews, eyes all bugged out and darting all over the place.
