I always liked Severson. I would love to keep him on the team, but realistically I don’t think there’s going to be room. In this interview it seems he knows it as well.

If this was his last year in red I just want to say a lot of y’all were ridiculously harsh on this kid his entire stay here. He was one of the few consistently good players during some really dark times and everyone just shit on him for no reason. I personally love Sevo hope we can bring him back somehow!

So crazy watching this kid grow up and only a little younger than me. Earlier this season I was raging about this day, but I understand.
Sevo is going to love a fresh start somewhere else and no longer being the punching bag for much of this fanbase. Just go in and be the steady top 4 Dman some of us know you are.

Underrated in his entire tenure with us. He’s had his gaffs but he’s always been consistently one of our best defensemen, especially in the decade of darkness.
I’ll be sad to see him go, I really wish we could have won it all with him on the roster. Hope he finds success wherever he ends up.

I would like to see him here next year. Firstly because he’s a fine defenseman and secondly because he’s been here through the shit years where nothing seemed to go right, it would be nice if he could be here for the good years as well.

Gonna miss this crisp outlet passes for breakaways he has pulled off so many times. He’s been a solid player during some rough times and chose to speak the truth about the team when it needed to be said.
