Culture. When you watch the Boston Bruins you can see how they all follow the example set by Bergeron. Total commitment to what is needed. If it's a whole shift of intense back checking, so be it. If it's blocking a shot, killing a penalty, leading a power play… just work and commit and let the skill show where it may. Mika is that kind of player. A joy to watch.
