individual stats maybe, but Kane has 3 cups, hard to win cups these days
I don’t think we should compare Bedard & Kaner just yet. It’s too soon and we don’t know how good of a team we’re gonna be just yet.

I’ve honestly been surprised at how quickly people have turned on Kaner and can’t wait to get him out the door- Patrick Kanes don’t grow on trees, we’ll probably never see that kind of success here again. Most franchises never see it or if they do, it’s extremely rare. We’ve been spoiled and now we’re riding high after getting Bedard.
Most people say Bedard isn’t quite McDavid…well McDavid doesn’t even have 1 Cup…Kaner’s got 3. Now, Kane did have a great team around him, but he was the phenom. A Calder, a Hart, 3 cups, a Conn Smythe, top 40 in scoring and counting…the greatest American born player and quite frankly, one of the greatest hockey players to ever live. We should be so lucky if Bedard is half of that. Bedard is 17 with quite the task ahead of him. Kane is the exception to the rule when it comes to #1 overall picks. Comparing the two is a disservice to both of them. And if I recall, this podcast scoffed even at the mention of Patrick Kane’s name, they want to move on…so don’t compare them
The Hawks should not name anyone captain until Bedard is ready.
