  1. Ya, making 10s of millions a year doing something like this is very taxing on the wife and kids

  2. Bad , even ridiculous call by NHL Referees, ended the Leaf's season. Not the players, coaches or management. Next season, practice & train during the regular season, for the play offs because, you will be there.
The comeback was cut short by NHL officiating.

  3. Kyle really wants this~he really does and I think he's definitely smart enough to do it!

  4. I'm really surprised how many here want him to stay… hasn't he boxed this team in on high contracts? Unless he's willing to get rid of 2 of the 4 high salaries, they leafs won't be able to do much

  5. As a Flyer fan I respect Dubas. I think he did a great job setting the team up for success in the post season but the playoffs, as many have said is a totally different animal. The thing I really loved was his passion and energy in the playoffs. His emotion really came through ! Brought back memories of our great founder Ed Snider who would rip the refs a new one if the calls weren't made!!

  6. Dubas said everything I wanted to hear to warrant him staying. Finally, he will move a core player if the deal is right. Also, love the fact that he is a family man. Hope his family is alright.

  7. leaf fans have swallowed the koolaid… you tanked for years to get great draft picks and decisions on his watchhave put you in this situation and you all want him back. Incredible. Leaf fans deserve what they get. He hire a friend… nepotism in a way…he leads the charge to sign Tavares and that leads to painting the franchise into a corner… He coddles the entitled and never gets rewarded… the stars don’t play for the community or their general manager who mathem rich… not one leaf took accountability not Mathews not Marner not NYLANDER not Tavares… only Orielly took accountability…. C’mon leaf fans wake up….

  8. We need winning management! Dumbass and shannaNOplan have to go! These guys had how many yrs of loosing. Need to clean up the B.S..no player is worth the money slowpoke Tavares, give away Nylander, mitch the attitude marner and Austin no show mathews. And the stupid rentals of players we loose for.

  9. Do not fire Dubas. There’s obvious pieces that need to be replaced that are pretty much unanimously agreed upon. Add more people with a history of winning onto this roster. Figure it out.

  10. What is Dubas… he is super smart nice guy… the guy you want your daughter to marry.. the leafs are a collection of nice guys… sorry to tell you this to win in hockey you need guys who will punch their Grandmas in the nose to win a cribbage game. Dubas has collected a bunch of players who reflect him… sorry you need a bunch of crazies mixed in with talent…. Can’t do it with Dubas skill before will

  11. I've been very vocal that they should fire Dubas, he doesn't understand intangibles as well as he does analytics. We need a GM that's got a mix of old and new school in him. We need a Tkachuk type of player and a stud D Man

  12. No. No. Did he really just say what I think he said? "You won't see me pop up elsewhere, I can't put them (the Leafs) through that after this year." Translation: "Hey Leafs, I would hate to take my amazing skills to another team, then come back and use them on you. Because, you know, I'm such a winner and know what I'm doing." This guy's the definition of smug.

  13. stop saying obviously so much because nothing is obvious with respect to the debacle your team is.

  14. Dubas should stay, it would be a mistake to fire him. He gave them a team that could win, it was the execution that was the problem and that falls on the coaches and the players.
