  1. As long as you have a team of players that look away when one of their teammates is literally mugged you will never win a Stanley cup. Benneth injured your best young prospect right in front of your eyes he slammed his head on the ice and skated away job done. No reaction. Gudas stamped Kampf into the boards after the whistle, stood there waiting for a reaction from anyone, nobody even talked to him, poor Kampf is like we're at war here and you don't have my back? Tkachuk ragdolling poor Marner, you're not 18 Mitch, you're a grown adult. Tavares, Mr. excitement himself, another soft player who plays like it's the month of November. Nice guys don't win Stanley cups…imagine if anyone on the Leafs had taken any liberties with the Panthers, it would have been hell to pay because they care about each other. Marner is so scared you can probably smell the fear of of him…Wendel Clark at 56 has more heart in his pinky than this whole team put together…lol.

  2. Good playoffs, yes there was ups and downs. The up was winning first round and the downs were the inconsistency in penalty calling that's beyond coaches hands and the goal that was not counted was bull. And I thought that game belonged to Leafs forcing another game and who knows we could be talking about Toronto's great win advancing to eastern conference final, and cup final. I hope you get another chance Sheldon because I can tell your all heart and completely dialed in for Leafs success, good luck to you.

  3. Hes the reason the leafs are an embarrassment the last couple of years. Lets be real and ditch the emotions.

  4. “We weren’t able to play long enough for them (top players) to find their way through that.”
A series is 7 games. If they can’t find their way after 5 games, you’re probably not gonna see too many more.

  5. This team did what hasn't been done in 19 years. The 4 key players are 25/26 years old, odd man out is Tavares. Relax, those 4 will mature but I'd say adios Tavares.

  6. Keefe refuses to acknowledge the poor playoff performance and I'm beginning to think it's because he doesn't grasp what playoff style hockey is in the NHL. I mean, Florida did it to him up the arse and he's still like a deer in the headlights – baffling.

  7. Off to Muskoka. The country club is more important that winning in Toronto! No changes for next season and we will see the same results. No one is accountable here!

  8. Never once have u heard him say that ‘he should have coached better’ situational hockey man! That’s a mark of a good coach . Eg: Paul Maurice

  9. Like I said after the Columbus series …hes not an nhl caliber coach …hes a good coach just not creative enough when it matters

  10. Bull S!!! Sheldon was a breath of fresh air The coach before him didnot fare well with the teamJust because they lost in round #2 Well,Next season they will be playoff veterans in both 1+2This team will be even better next year I believe with an honest team start in the fall You all can only get better together Have a happy, healthy summer and be good to your bodies❤😊

  11. He sounds like he knows what's coming. Keefe had ample time to get them over the hump. Unfortunately, he was able to do so. I'd say the blame is to share with his GM who clearly wasn't able to build a winning playoff team. It would be best if they both moved on, it was time for a new vision after the Montreal collapse

  12. Player usage was abysmal. Timmins, Gustafsson not used. Instead Holl and Brodie were terrible. The blender of lines proved disruptive and offense disappeared.

  13. Achilles heel was goal tending!! I would ride with Woll from now on. Keep the core together!! The 2 goals Samsonov let in in the beginning of 2nd period of game 2 were unforgivable! You can't let soft goals in in the playoffs. I thought that they learned that with Campbell!! That was key!

  14. So many dumb comments and know-it-all opinions this year. Wanting to blow up the whole organization when it has been the best it has been in at least 30+ years. I've been a Leafs fan for over 50 years, and I wonder if people forget just how miserable this franchise was for a good 40+ of those years. I have enjoyed seeing this team finish amongst the top teams in the standings every year for the last few. I like seeing Leaf players in the top 20, and being in the conversation for major trophies. When I was a kid, there was none of that. Our season was often done by Christmas, or we might squeak into the playoff on the last day. Makes me sick remembering that! The talent on this team is amazing, and should have had a couple of deep runs by now, but you don't blow everything up and go through years of misery all over again. It will be interesting to see what happens in the days and weeks ahead.

  15. what do you mean, they're used to coming into days like this every year the last 7 LOL

  16. 2 reasons why Keefe should be let go:

    1. Constantly shuffling lines and players never having a real role to play to. They were constantly putting players in position to not be successful. This blender shit needed to end months ago.

    2. Playoff Power play was horrendous – FL had no concerns that playing anything other than flat out, cross many lines, take many penalties or challenge the rules because they had no respect for Leafs’ power play. If the PP had made them pay then they would have had to stop their antics much sooner. That would have been the real pushback to FL gooning it up.

Refs were horrible, couldn’t win a home game, but at the end of the day Keefe and company never adjusted to put the players into positions of success and never figured out how to fix the PP. He didn’t put them in positions for success regardless of what he says. He got sooooo many more decisions wrong then right.

    So he should be dismissed!

  17. Year after year(add 54 more years) this team sucks. I love it! We want FLORIDA haha

  18. è
Keep on keeping on: Develop that killer instinct. Excellent year I believe but next year there will be NO REPEAT. Take the experience and grow from it. I was old enough to see their last CUP and I will see at least 1 more CUP in my life time. Always a Proud LEAF Fan…until this time next year…GO LEAFS GO…

  19. I know it's unfair but trade Nylander In the June draft. Don't resign Gustafsson, O'Reilly, Kerfoot, and please don't resign Holl 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤣🤣🤣. Resign Kampf, Acciari, Bunting, Schenn and Samsonov. Buyout Murray and JT. Fire Keefe. Keep Dubas unless u can find a gm to replace him. The best gms already signed with teams like Holland, Nill, Sakic and Yzerman their teams not letting them go.

  20. All the other teams PRESSURE all over the ice! This guy thinks the left wing lock is the gold standard when it come to coaching strategies.

  21. The players are all adults. The coach should encourage them But the players have to do the work it takes to win!

  22. Inexperience, way over his head and just couldn’t get the team going when it mattered. It was show cased throughout his tenure. He couldn’t maximize his core players talent and refused to do what’s best for the team. Ie Marner and Matthews pairing. Didn’t matter how they played, he played thinking “best players” didn’t work out for the team. Let’s not even talk about the formation on the powerplay. How he thought it was a good idea to staple a 40 goal scorer on the bench when they couldn’t score and his best zone entry man, was all that needs to be said about his style. He was fortune and lucky to have a roster of young talent, but he only cared for 2. You saw Tavares and Nylander suffer because of it, and the team shortly after. Unfortunate, but he has to bare responsibility. He legit looked lost and was out coached, even in the Tampa series. Keefe will have a career, I think. But he has no business anywhere near this team with what he’s shown in games that truly mattered. Dubas took all the blame, but I think Keefe should should just as much, if not all of it. The team was good enough, he just couldn’t get through to them, and you know what…the players tuned him out a long time ago. The talent was there, the system and the voice wasn’t. Disappointing year all around. I thought this was the year. Phil Jackson got Kobe and MJ to play a team game. He promote selfish play for two players. He saw that in the utilization and minutes played. It was hard to watch. It wasn’t fair for Marner and Matthews, certainly wasn’t fair for Nylander to be in the outside looking in, lazy was his narrative, but how can someone give you their best if you didn’t believe. JT too, he could’ve done more, but he was clearly overshadowed.

  23. Keefe you beat around the bush constantly , have you thought of politics as your next career choice , Good Luck wherever you go ………

  24. Man you can hear his voice breaking, he’s really trying to keep it together. Sheldon you did a great job and coached multiple stellar regular seasons you have nothing to be Ashamed about. Sucks the job couldn’t get done but if this has been your last year coaching the leafs you have a lot of respect from leafs fans

  25. Keefe has to go just his confect of interest is enough reason and his bad line combs and coaching all to be blamed for the bad calls

  26. Bla bla bla bla bla bla ….been hearing some version of his storey for 57 Y E A R S !!!!!

  27. Should have been fired when they lost to Montreal, Florida played the same way Montreal did during the COVID playoffs. This team cannot win with this coaching group. Time to bring in somebody else that isn’t scared to piss off the media and the league.

  28. They really need to make some tough decisions.. Who to get rid of ? Who can they get the biggest package back for Matthew's and marner? One of them need to go 7 years of the same group they clearly can't get it done time to retool

  29. I’m definitely not opposed to getting rid of keefe but if you really watched all the games we could of easily been on the other side of this series the big players didn’t step up simple as that

  30. I worked for a guy that said after 3 years he was continuing to watch and learn – sound like Sheldon's media availability? — he is a head coach in the best hockey league in the world – his job is to KNOW // he never gives off the impression that "here's what we're gonna do and its gonna kick some ass' // there are really 2 seasons in an NHL season — 82 games for flash and entertainment – up to 28 games to get your name on The Cup through blood sweat and very hard work // many of the players and Sheldon haven't figured this second part out yet – have never seen any Messier or Maurice "we're gonna impose our will on you" attitude that it takes to win The Cup

  31. Keefe will be back if Dubas is back. They have unfinished business. Trade for a number #1 D by giving up one of the top guys.
