Lane Hutson looks like he’s ready to make his debut adding a real offensive element to the blue line. Also, plenty of depth at the forward position within the prospect pool to go along with the young players currently on the roster

He’s had one college season. Let’s pump the breaks. He needs experience, he needs to bulk up and he needs to work in his skating before he makes it to the NHL. Imo at least. Dude is not ready

He needs to get bigger and work on his D

Would be dumb as fuck not letting him destroy college , having fun , bulking up while we’re having a top 10 draft type of season again ! His defensive play looked better this season but it’s not NHL ready

The kid is still growing bone.

Let him bulk up a year or two then skip AHL to go the NHL.

He need to keep is production while improving his defense game.

Hutson is 19, Makar and Fox made their team at 21.

NHL is not a development league and the AHL would be too many games, NCAA is a great place for him

Listen, watching the World Championship, he’s been somewhat bad defensively, and he’s clearly not fast enough to cover his mistakes yet. He’s great offensively, but if we want him to become something better than a Sami Niku, we have to take care and develop him right.

Let the man cook some more in college. We need to be patient before we collectively enter the Bone Zone™️

We can circle back to this in 12 months. He absolutely needs to play another year in the NCAA. There’s no reason to rush this kid.
