Just watched Premier Kenny's update and even the optimal case isn't pretty. They're saying we "may" hit our peak here by mid May. Even the best solution here means that there really couldn't be hockey until late August at the earliest because it's not just us, it's everyone and while our peak may be mid May others may peak a lot later and it's the globe that effects us. With unemployment in the province possibly hitting or exceeding 25% when the virus is OVER that will effect so many that hockey seems frivalous by comparison.
Unless literally every player, coach, trainer, ref, and rink maintenance person (plus all of the others that make what the players do possible and it's an army) are isolated for the duration it can't happen. We have to be realistic and realistically it's pretty much over for awhile especially as they are pretty sure this will have more than one wave. Hope for the best, do what you can to plan for the worst and anything in the middle is a bonus. Let's hope globally it's "better" rather than "worse". Thanks for the content Tyson. Keep whatever you can coming our way to break-up the dull and maybe give us something to hope for.
