Hey, nice to know we are keeping on the tradition of being Fickle Fans.

    Some observations:

-Vancouver was like 95% white. Way more diverse now.

-Smoking in a bar (and on camera).

-Vancouverites then looked like Albertans do now.

-Tiger Williams at the end looks 45 years old…he was 28!

-A young, fresh faced Marc Crawford.

-players wear 1200 dollar Hugo Boss suits now. No one has a sports coat anymore.

-No one had a jersey. One guy who was the reborn Canuck fan had somewhat of a replica but that’s about it.

-People were thrilled to see and cheer on players. No pathetic grown men autograph hounds.

-How little the TV in the pub is!

This is the most Canadian Vancouver has ever been.

My parents didn’t even know each other back then LOL.

That team was basically Richard Brodeur and friends.

I was 6 back then, but I don’t recall much about it. I only remember my dad would buy us hockey cards, and we would drown in Gretzky cards.

Damn, 40 years ago. Some of the folks in that video are no longer around. I sure hope we get to see the Canucks lift the cup in our lifetimes.
