Given the 4 teams remaining in the playoffs? I think EDM just lost to the cup winners again this season. I'd bet on VGK to win this cup at this point. We shall see.
Toronto lost to…… well, garbage over the past 7 years, really. They finally beat a tired, depleted, aged Tampa Bay, acted like they won the cup, and were quickly grounded again by a "not" tired, depleted, aged Florida.
Toronto is easily the bigger failure, and it starts with 58.1% of your salary cap, wasted on 5 bodies. That's only going to get worse, if they want to keep Matthews, the ultimate playoff ghost.

Disappointed in this as the oilers are facing easier competition in a division that is the weakest in the NHL. Change conferences ? come on Dangle. Long time sub to your channel but this is just a garbage response.

How is losing to the top team in the conference in 6 games a choke? The nonsense these pundits put out for views is ridiculous. I didnt watch the video because i dont want to support it but wanted to see what ppl were saying in the comments.
Leafs choked way harder. Had the 17th seeded team, Edmonton had the top team in the division. Their goaltending let them down big time. Leafs big guys couldn’t score against the panthers, ffs. So frustrating. That’s a choke. Your paid to score, so go score.
The leafs didn't choke at all. They got beat fair and square. The Panthers were the better team from the get go. Choking is when your team is the better team, they take a dominant lead and then lose. Like Boston.
Why isn't Colorado an option? Because it was the result I was most disappointed in. Really wanted to see more from the title defense.

The biggest difference is that oilers top players showed up, leafs top players were mostly ghost.
Oilers need better D and goaltending. Leafs need grit and heart they don't have it
If they trade Matthews we can end up taking a step back and missing the playoffs then it will be more bad and worse then not making out of the 1st or 2nd rd.

Edmonton choked, Toronto losing was expected.
Bouchard is a terrible skater. He skates like he has cinderblocks as skates. There were multiple times he got caught because the other guy was just as average skater and beat him clean.
