  1. The more I hear about that kid, the more hyped up I get. Can't wait to see him with the Habs in 2 years !

  2. I am enjoying your podcast, GOD bless you both. I am from Canada but now living in the Philippines, I am 12 hours ahead of you as in time.

  3. Are the Habs not gonna buyout Gally contract since Geoff Monlson recently talk about a rebuild?

  4. Love his offensive game but he still has lots of works to do if he wants to be an NHL regular

  5. I really believe Owen Beck has the Potential to be the Next Ryan O’Reilly both of them played in the OHL, Owen Beck is there now, O’Reilly was there in 2009, Both were drafted 33rd overall, Both of them play the same style of game and in my opinion Owen Beck is Faster and a little more skilled. O’Reilly is better defensively but they both had very similar numbers in both of there seasons in the OHL. In O’Reilly’s first season he played 61 games had 19 Goals 33 Assists For 52 Points, In his second season he Played 68 Games 16 Goals 50 Assists For 66 points, 0’Reilly also only played in the 2008-2009 OHL playoffs and only had 5 games played and 5 assists for 5 points Not great but not to bad all around OHL numbers… Now Owen Beck Has played 2 Total Seasons In the OHL With 2 Different Teams, his first Season With the Mississauga Steelheads he had 68 Games Played 21 Goals 30 Assists For 51 Points. His Second season he had 30 Games Played 17 Goals 24 Assists For 41 Points! Amazing numbers he was really finding himself. He was then Traded to the Peterborough Petes He Played 30 Games 7 Goals 18 Assists for 25 points so kinda lost his touch there probably wasn’t use to there system of play and the chemistry with other players. So For His Second Season His Totals Are 60 Games Played 24 goals 42 Assists For 66 points. And Becks Playoff Numbers Are significantly better then O’Reilly’s playoff numbers.. In Becks First playoff in the OHL In 2021-2022 he had 10 Games Played 1 Goal 5 Assists 6 Points.. And in Becks Second Playoffs in 2022-2023 he has 20 Games Played 7 Goals 8 Assists for 15 Points …So There First Seasons are Basically even with O’Reilly Getting 1 more point then Beck but Beck had a more goal scoring Touch He had 21 goals and O’Reilly Had 19 goals. There Second Seasons were dead even in points both had 66 points, But again Beck had more of a goal scoring Touch Scoring 24 Goals and O’Reilly only getting 16 goals But Beck also Scored the same amount of points in 8 Less games then O’Reilly, Beck had a better points per game then O’Reilly in there second seasons …. Now I don’t think we can really Compare the Playoffs because O’Reilly only Played 5 OHL playoff games and only had 5 assists and Beck played 10 playoff games and had 6 points 1 goal and 5 assists so maybe we can compare there first playoff performances. So O’Reilly had a better points per game then Beck in there first playoff seasons but again beck managed to score a goal and O’Reilly didn’t so maybe we are looking at a O’Reilly like player in Beck but with more of a goal scoring touch and probably won’t be as good defensively but good enough to be a great 2 way player. I Truly Believe O’Reilly is the Best comparison for Beck and if he turns out to be like O’Reilly then Montreal better hold on to him tight and I think Owen Beck will turn out to be a very good Center in the NHL and will be way better then people are giving him Credit for. <@1105157360391045230> touched on this in a video 6 months ago i believe and I really looked into it and I think Tropical was really onto something here. But what do you guys think Do we have the Next O’Reilly on our Hands or is Owen Beck not going to come close to that potential… And would you guys want to try and Sign O’Reilly this Offseason to be a mentor to Owen Beck as he makes his way to the NHL maybe a 3 year deal for O’Reilly at maybe 2.9 million to 3.5 or is that number to high or way to low for O’Reilly but…. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK! 😃🙌 Is Owen Beck the Next O’Reilly or a Bust in my opinion I think he definitely is the next one and will be really close to him and won’t end up being a bust…
