NHL “Ripoff Index” – I would not have expected this result for us
NHL "Ripoff Index" – how much does it cost to see your favorite team, given how good or bad they are? pic.twitter.com/ES3Qo5NZ0G

Tickets are cheap, which probably makes up most of the cost in their index. If they convert to Canadian teams to USD it would skew the results as well due to our weak dollar.
We’re cheap?
Cheap? wtf
Cheap as in if you convert CAD to USD. But I would also argue that our team is actually fun to watch live as we gave up a lot of chances and goals, but also scores a lot. So the entertainment value is there. Just not a good team though.
Canucks tickets have dipped a lot over the past few seasons. It’s not really crazy to hop on stubhub or something and find tickets for like 30$ or well under face value.
From ticketmaster or season tickets yeah they’re still expensive as fuck. And the in game experience is remortgage your house expensive.
Not a ripoff if you don’t give them money
Yea I was doing a marketing project and Canucks are cheap. We also have an old arena which isn’t great.
So when we start getting good. Remember when you could have had cheap tickets.
It’s actually very impressive how Seattle became a top tier team since inception. It’s a great economy to build an NHL team with a lot of tech/IT workers there who have a ton of cash to burn.
That said, I am actually shocked Vancouver tickets are considered cheap? Unless something happened in the past few months, I always thought they were going for $100-200 a seat. Not really worth the price of admission for the quality on the ice…
It’s like converted to USD which makes it cheaper from that perspective and really. Upper bowl tickets aren’t going for much these days.
Lower bowl is still relatively expensive though.
I expected Canucks to be more expensive. Didn’t expect us to be league average
If there was a horses ass trophy, it should to go arizona.
