Columbus Blue Jackets forward Gustav Nyquist draws the penalty in overtime and then converts the ensuing penalty shot, beating Frederik Andersen to give Columbus the 4-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

  1. It was definitely not the greatest call, but it's overtime on a breakaway. I can def understand why the refs called it.

  2. Absolutely amazing hockey game, my 2 favorite hockey teams here. Although if im tbh I dont think it shouldve been a penalty shot, but im still glad we got the win. Well played leafs!

  3. The penalty shot was assessed because marker put his hand over the puck in the crease, not because of the hook. Just to clarify.

  4. This is not 1990, how about you don't hook or even try to hook somebody on a breakaway.

  6. Well, if the hook was too weak a call for you, just pretend the penalty shot was for Marner covering the puck in the crease.
