I actually think Sabres are trending in right direction. They are a much better team this year than people thought think. Thompson has been a solid player this year. Skinner has bounced back. Many young players like Olofsson Krebs Cozens, Tuch, Quinn, Peterka plus their D in Dahlen and Power coming.
If he wants to talk trash about the owners, GMās, and coaches, go right at it. Talk trash about the fans, šš¼
It's only outsiders who have this dumb opinion that Eichel is immune to booing and that Sabres fans aren't upset enough with management. Buffalo loves hockey but they arent showing up to the games to send a message to the owners they need to fix the team. Jack was the teams captain and part of being a captain is accepting the responsibility of failure and with how many times the team would fail to do the basics of hockey or show any grit on the ice then Jack should not be so surprised and accept his boos. Had he accepted the hostility with an ounce of dignity or compassion knowing how upset Sabres fans are with the franchise then he probably would of had more fanfare his next game back in Buffalo. In a way the booing only had 25% due to Eichel and is mostly about the decade of the frustration felt by fans.
Eichel wanted out the year prior just so u no so he turned his back on us and ya we are pissed at ownership too but we will always boo eichel he's a dick with a nasty attitude and we gave him whatever he wanted we got rid of O'Reilly too make him happy
I don't care how good the kid is. I'm glad I don't have that pompus fuck leading let alone playing on this team anymore. Jack only knows how to play for himself, it's always been about Jack Eichel, no one is good enough to raise him up. He is Evander Kane levels of disorganized and I'm glad he's now no longer a member of this franchise. He asked for a trade in 19.

Eichel was nothing but a big crybaby bitch and he personally set this franchise back years with his temper tantrum to the owners of getting this coach and that coach and that GM and he hates this GM all fired and when they built around him he still threw a fit and thatās why ROR left and when the Sabres finally got there shit together and hired a GM who fired the shittiest coach in NHL history Ralph Krueger and promoted Donny Meatballs to head coach they went from the joke of any nhl team in history to where youād clap if they even got a shot on net to completely turning around guys like Rasmus Dahlin and Kyle Okposo and gave Jeff Skinner his talents back to completely transforming Tage Thompson from this giraffe on skates to a complete and absolute stud who can just score goals at will. Jack Eichel had a lot of talent and still does, but trading him away for Alex Tuch and Peyton Krebs was the best thing that could ever happen. The Sabres are literally one more good defenseman and a solid goalie to being deep playoff contenders..
